Hope can be difficult in trying times, but is always essential for achieving our goals. Brian Nandy, therapist, psychoanalyst and TedX speaker knows all to well what it means to overcome adversity in order to maximize his potential and create the life of his dreams.

In this episode, Brian shares his story of coming to the United States from Malaysia to pursue his dream of becoming a psychologist and the the mindset it took from him in order to overcome every hurdle he faced along the way.

Brian also explains the difference between false hope and active hope, and why active hope is necessary for taking control of our lives.
