A decorated Army veteran, Dr. Codier entered the private sector practice of emergency medicine, but then started living all of the struggles now contributing to the burnout crisis in the specialty. He and his colleagues did something that has only been done a few times in medicine - they successfully formed a union. While not an easy mission, they completed it and now he seeks to educate others about how unions might be a part of the future.
