Violette Addiah is from the Seattle area and holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Theater. She has enjoyed the majority of her professional career in public service as a social worker.

Violette considers herself primarily an edge player in the realm of her BDSM play. Edgeplay is a subjective term for activity (sexual or mentally manipulative) that may challenge the conventional Safe, Sane and Consensual ("SSC") scheme; if one is aware of the risks and consequences and is willing to accept them, then the activity is considered Risk Aware Consensual Kink ("RACK"). These activities include breath play, knife play, fear play, temperature play, wax play, Consensual Non-Consent (CNC), cutting, and blood play. Violette has a proclivity for bloodplay.

Violette has found that BDSM has been an integral piece to her healing from abusive relationships. She has found that her self-love, self-confidence and self-worth have flourished since she became heavily involved in play and the community almost a year ago. She hopes to expand her involvement in the kink community by performing at festivals and continuing to explore how feminism is intertwined within the BDSM community.

Oberst Enzian is a Seattle area-based emerging artist, technologist, and BDSM practitioner. As an artist, Enzian works across multiple media: music, film, interactive audio and video installations, and network-based systems artworks. Within the context of BDSM, he is exploring what is referred to as “edgeplay”: a subjective term for activity (sexual or mentally manipulative) that may challenge the conventional Safe, Sane and Consensual ("SSC") scheme; if one is aware of the risks and consequences and is willing to accept them, then the activity is considered risk-aware consensual kink ("RACK"). These activities include breath play, knife play, fear play, temperature play, wax play, Consensual Non-Consent (CNC), cutting, and blood play.

Enzian draws his inspiration from a lifelong fascination with technology, and philosophy, and his discomfort with the identities assigned to him within the regime of white supremacy. He also draws on his roots in the fertile ground of his experiences as a parent, an analyst in the field of information technology, and sex positivity.

Enzian’s desire is to reconcile the conflicting and overlapping multitudes of which he is composed by drawing these points of contention and paradoxes into the open. He believes the reconciliation of these conflicts is to be found between the false dichotomies of rules and randomness, intellect and emotion, flesh and machine.
