On the 26th March 2001 the wrestling world stood in awe. Vince had done it! He had bought his competition.
With the death of the major territories over the previous 15 years there was no where to go for any wrestlers who were out of favour with the WWF. Several companies tried to fill the gap.
In this episode we look at the formation of one that is still going today.
TNA Wrestling.
This is the prelude to a series where two comedians rate and review all the weekly PPVs released by NWA:TNA. This prelude we look at what became of the belt that TNA chose as their main title, The NWA World Title. After being last seen on WWF TV in 1998 what became of the title? Why was it vacant at the time of the show?
This and more is looked into as we start the journey of Escaping the Asylum.
