What should have been more popular in the world of Agile, but just died down?
Manage episode 383736820 series 3418572
In the early days of #agile, the founding fathers of the #agilemanifesto were inspired by a number of #agileframeworks, processes, and methodologies. #scrum, for example, had been in practice since 1995 and was continuously proving itself in the toughest applications on earth, whilst the world of #lean manufacturing was making great strides in #productdevelopment and continuous improvement. Since 2001, a few more #agileframeworks have been released, with some of those frameworks focused on #scaling #agile, and many practitioners have evolved in terms of their practice, their thinking and their beliefs. So, what emerged over this period and should have been more widely adopted? What proved itself to be a powerful force in shaping how we build products and solve complex problems. In this short video, John McFadyen talks about something that should have been more popular in the #agile world, but somehow failed to gain the necessary traction to become an #agile phenomenon.
