The year is 2217. Coyote is an Outposter who lives in a cabin in the Similkameen Valley. After receiving a surprise visit from his granddaughter Eden, he reminisces about the journey he made 30 years earlier, to the x̌ʷay̓x̌ʷəy̓ Sphere. It was on this trip that his world view was completely transformed by the chance encounters with a group of strangers and the famed Fungal Intelligence.
