Are you a parent, guardian or caregiver to a child with special educational needs? Are you looking for best techniques to help your special child learn? In order to effectively aid your special needs child to learn skills with video modelling; number one, identify and target a skill you want the child to learn, number two, research to find videos that address the gap; number three, select videos in which the models are the exact age bracket as with the child; number four, let the child view model performing the task repeatedly; number five, allow the child to perform the task to ascertain the extent of learning that has occurred. Finally, keep playing the video for the child until the skill is learnt.
