據麗儀後來告訴我，當時大學的共青團委曾經找她談過，提醒她若要有更好的前程，就應該放棄香港的男友。大學黨委又從香港左派出版界搵人報料 ，說我在香港正同一個出版界的女孩子密切來往，勸告麗儀「帶眼識人」，不要被感情欺騙。
