Cheers to Puppeteers continues the founder of the Center for Puppetry Arts - Vincent Anthony! Vince was the Executive Director of the Center from 1978 until December 2019, where he oversaw every aspect of the organization - from its award-winning performances to its world-renowned collection of puppet objects. He is also the co-founder of the Vagabond Puppet company and continues to serve the Center as an executive advisor. We talk to Vince about how the Center continues to educate and entertain during the COVID-19 pandemic, what it takes to develop a main-stage puppet show from beloved children's literature, and how he and his team curates the 6,000+ item collection.
