Put your usual frontend - backend - database architecture aside, this is about environments with dozens of systems, customers facing applications on different operating systems, external interfaces, unrelated servers with big infrastructure, and of course, interacted by thousands of users.
We will need special kind of teams, to develop and maintain these kinds of environments and applications. That is where we come to multi-system multi-role self-organizing and self-progressive teams.
