Will Twitter's Death Blow Be Delivered by a Pork Chop?

A few days ago Winer released a tool called Little Pork Chop. It was built to legitimize an activity that will eventually make Twitter completely unusable. That activity is known as the “tweetstorm,” where the thoughts of a Twitter user can’t be expressed in just 140 characters, so rather than bang out a quick blog post, the user writes as many tweets as it takes to get their feelings out. Winer has engineered his tool so a user can compose their ideal massive sililoqui, and Little Pork Chop will automatically parse it into separate 140-character tweets, with threading to boot. While the tool satisfies one user’s needs, it destroys the Twitter experience for every one of that user’s followers. Winer’s tool is essentially slapping a rubber stamp of approval on Twitter’s verbal diarrhea epidemic.
