Join us as Ben, Dessy, Tiago, and Rose cover the inspirations behind Ace Attorney! This time we're inverting things and talking to someone inspired by Ace Attorney, Famicom Detective Club, and Hotel Dusk! Joey from Armonica is the lead developer on Detective Instinct: Farewell, My Beloved, which is a soon-to-be-released adventure game with a command select interface and a groovy soundtrack! We discuss his inspirations, work on the game, and the game design ethos behind it. We also evangelize the command select menus, adventure games as a whole, and get a few tangents in there, too! (Let us know if you like the idea of interviewing game devs about their work in the adventure game and visual novel genres more in the future!)

NEXT TIME: Episode 100 Celebration!
