Hey Handsome Dan, it's Jenny with your Campus Update for November 10 through November 17. Let's get you set for the week—fast. First up—Engineering Networking Week kicks off today and runs through Friday. It's packed with events like tech talks, resume workshops, and a career fair in Boston. Great chance to connect with industry pros. Next, the Near Eastern Languages & Civilizations department is hosting a lecture titled "Understanding the Sky in the Late Babylonian Centers of Astral Science" on Tuesday at 5 p.m. If you're into ancient astronomy, don't miss it. Finally, the Yale Dabke Fall Showcase is happening Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Experience this vibrant Middle Eastern dance right here on campus. The Bulldogs had a stellar weekend. Men's hockey opened their home season with a 4-2 victory over No. 5 Quinnipiac. David Andreychuk and James Shannon led the charge with key goals. On the gridiron, football triumphed over Brown 34-22. Running back Josh Pitsenberger rushed for 173 yards and two touchdowns, while quarterback Dante Reno threw for 208 yards and two scores. Looking ahead, men's hockey faces Princeton at home this Saturday at 7 p.m. Let's pack Ingalls Rink and show our support. The STEM Peer to Peer Networking Event is set for Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Dow Hall. It's a great opportunity to connect with fellow STEM students and share experiences. A campus trend to note: the Yale Dabke Fall Showcase on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. It's a vibrant display of Middle Eastern dance that's gaining popularity. For dining, the food trucks on Science Hill are featuring a new Mediterranean option this week. Perfect for a quick and tasty lunch between classes. This week in New Haven, expect a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures ranging from the mid-40s to low 50s. A flurry is possible on Tuesday, so keep a warm jacket handy. Your move: Register for the Engineering Career Fair in Boston happening this Friday. Spots are limited, so sign up now to secure your place. That's your quick Campus Update. I'm Jenny—catch you next Monday morning. Tap follow on your podcast app so you never miss a beat.
