Is this your Lucha Libre inspired high flying, wrestling based adventure comedy film? NO! … it’s NACHO comedy film! not… your… nacho. get it? Ugh.

From the mind of Director Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite, Minecraft) comes the story of Ignacio; friar, cook, and secret lucha wrestler. Jack Black stars in this 2006 comedy. And with the unnecessary fart noise of Nacho Libre ringing in our ears, we bid a fond farewell to wrestle-tober; a month where we all learned something and that wrestling films are the friends we body slammed along the way. So now it’s wrapped up just in time for the Spooky season of halloween to sneak on in, for a bit of fun to round out the month.

The whole wrestling team is in this episode, and even though they are all wearing lucha masks… you can tell who is who.

Synopsis

Ignacio (Jack Black), or Nacho to his friends, works as a cook in the Mexican monastery where he grew up. The monastery is home to a host of orphans whom Nacho cares for deeply, but there is not much money to feed them properly. Nacho decides to raise money for the children by moonlighting as a Lucha Libre wrestler with his partner Esqueleto (Héctor Jiménez), but since the church forbids Lucha, Nacho must disguise his identity.
