What Are You Focused On?

Colossians 1:15-18
Pastor Cory closes out our Sunday morning revival service with a look at the supremacy and glory of Christ as the very image of God. Going right along with Pastor Troy's earlier message, Cory calls the church to return our focus and devotion to Christ. He lifts up the Lord Jesus and tells of the beauty and splendor that Christ holds as the First and the Last, the One through which everything was made, and through which everything in creation is sustained. Christ is worthy of our undivided attention, of our personal and sold-out devotion.
The calling for every Christian is to take the gospel to the ends of the earth. Well, where does the earth begin and where does it end? For us at Bald Mountain Baptist Church, the world begins in the Shumont Community on top of a little peak in Buncombe County, NC. Our prayer is that through this platform we might do our part in reaching the ends of the earth with the gospel!
We have finally gotten our back-content uploaded, praise the Lord! Thank you so much for bearing with us. From now on we will be uploading 1 message per week on Sundays as our schedule allows. We are currently in our series on Worship, and will be continuing in this series for the foreseeable future. Pastor Cory is also making his way through the book of Ephesians in his messages. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.
