Rebecca Lombardo is an advocate for mental health, a blogger for the Huffington Post, a podcast host, and a Social Media Specialist at International Bipolar Foundation. Rebecca battled with mental illness for twenty-five years which led to an attempt to take her life in 2013. As she recovered from that attempt, she continued to write in the hopes that she would help purge some of the pain in her life. What she never expected was that she could help others as well. This book quite simply began as a blog and became a book; where she opens up about her real and raw emotions during those two years. Key Takeaways:
  • Find a little bit of motivation to get up everyday
  • Take proactive steps everyday
  • Form a habit that begins to feed into the positive aspects of your personality
  • Balance all your relationships
