Auburn fans—did we just witness the spark we’ve been waiting for? The Tigers’ offense finally looked alive in a wild shootout against Vanderbilt, and for the first time all season, the passing game actually looked dangerous. Cam Coleman and Eric Singleton both went nuclear, combining for over 240 yards and two touchdowns, while Ashton Daniels delivered his best performance in an Auburn uniform.

D.J. Durkin’s leadership was all over this team. His defense had some uncharacteristic penalties and breakdowns, but the aggression and energy were undeniable. Even with the loss, Auburn looked like a team playing with pride—and for the first time in a long time, belief.

Durkin credited the fight, saying he’ll take “aggressive penalties” over timid play every time. Meanwhile, fans saw an offense that finally embraced its weapons. Cam Coleman was unstoppable, Eric Singleton couldn’t be covered, and for once, the play-calling let them eat. The Auburn Express crew breaks it all down, including:

  • What D.J. Durkin’s influence means for Auburn’s future

  • Whether this offensive explosion is sustainable

  • Why Auburn fans should be cautiously optimistic heading into the Iron Bowl stretch
