By accepting the existence of negative thoughts and choosing not to act on them, they're losing their power and increasingly being replaced by positive thoughts including gratitude. This has been a long process for me. For many years, my attention was primarily focused on what I saw as the "short comings" in my life. I was focused on trying to solve what I perceived as the problems in my life. Now, increasingly, I find myself focusing on what I'm grateful for and happy about in my life.

I'm happy about this progress for many reasons. One of which is I know what I focus on grows in my world. Having an increasingly positive focus creates a better and better world for me.

So many of our thoughts are not conscious. I offer thought coaching to help clients accept both their conscious and previously unconscious thoughts as well as the freedom to chose which thoughts to act on. If this is of interest to you, you can contact me for a free introductory session at [email protected]
