He also explains what to watch for when symptoms of migraine mimic stroke symptoms, and how to know when to call 9-1-1 and go to the emergency room. Rosa Hart, BSN, RN, SCRN is the stroke nurse navigator for Norton Healthcare and hosts the discussion.

Dr. Plato is the medical director of Headache Medicine with the Norton Neuroscience Institute in Louisville, KY. Dr. Plato is board-certified in both neurology and headache medicine and is the immediate past president of the Southern Headache Society. He is also an investigator on several clinical trials to develop new treatments for headache disorders.
