What does reinvention really look like when life keeps throwing curveballs? For Susan Guidi, it’s a story packed with twists, pivots, and badass comebacks. An ultrasound pioneer, mother of three, grandmother of seven, improv performer, stand-up comedian, and award-winning bodybuilder, Susan’s life is a masterclass in resilience and reinvention. At 66, she wrote and performed her own one-woman show, “What If Wonder Woman Was 66?”—and she hasn’t stopped breaking rules or deadlifting weights since.

Join Erin and Susan as they dive into how she transformed loss into strength, defied cultural expectations, and kept discovering new versions of herself again and again. They explore:

  • The art of starting over: whether in a new country, new career, or after heartbreak
  • Defying cultural expectations about aging, ambition, and what women “should” want after 40
  • Building a thriving business from scratch, with zero business training
  • Bodybuilding after menopause: the science, grit, and audacity it takes to compete and win
  • How “trying on” new identities, from entrepreneur to comic to Wonder Woman, opens up endless possibilities for finding joy and self-love

OUR GUEST: Susan Guidi has been the owner of Advanced Ultrasound Services for more than 25 years. She is a pioneer in diagnostic ultrasound technology. Susan trained at John Hopkins Hospital. She taught some of the first courses in ultrasound in Chile and then received her master’s degree in Paris, France. She is a mother of 3 and grandmother of 7. In her spare time Susan is a standup comedian and improv artist. At 65 she became a bodybuilder and motivational speaker. Last year at 66 she produced, wrote and performed her One Woman Show, "What if Wonder Woman was 66."
