Episode 147 - Insights on Christian Parenting
Manage episode 521397489 series 3592930
In today’s Insight episode, we’re reflecting on part one of our chat with Charlotte and talking about why it’s so valuable to hear from believers across the Christian spectrum - different backgrounds, different traditions, and different stages of their walk with Jesus.
But our main reflection today is all about Christian parenting. We dive into the swirl of online parenting advice, talk about why discipline isn’t the same as abuse, look at what Ephesians 6 teaches us, and chat through the difference between raising kids who truly love and know Jesus versus “good little Pharisees.” We also touch on our daily need for Jesus - not just to save us (justify) but to grow and shape (sanctify) both us and our children.
Oh… AND we are redrawing our giveaway winner at the end. Congrats, Jacinda Corbett!
