Adnan Husain (Queen's, Canada) is joined by Salman Sayyid (Leeds) and Rabab Abdulhadi (San Francisco State) in this episode to discuss the Bandung Conference of 1955 in the year of its seventieth anniversary. This conference brought together leaders of states that had only recently decolonised, and was an important moment of Global South solidarity that would give rise to resistance movements around the world. Their discussion takes a critical look at the history of this conference and its context, and shows how Bandung is still relevant for resistance movements around the world.
