There is a new system coming for the ‘26 season and nobody can do anything about it. The Automatic Ball-Strike System will now allow teams to start with two challenges each and can be used by the pitcher, the catcher, or the batter to challenge a call. However, the teams only lose challenges that the umpire’s original call is correct. Will this system end up being a good choice, or will it not make any differences?
