Over the next three Saturdays, Alanna will explore the unique characteristics and distinct identity of women’s sport – not necessarily in comparison to men’s, but rather on its own terms. Across more than 30 interviews, Alanna has delved into the forces shaping this new era: from femininity and body image, to equipment design, commercial growth, leadership, coaching pathways, menstrual health, injury research, and whether long-standing rules still serve today’s athletes.
