This week our guest is 2016 and 2024 Canadian Paralympian, Nathan Clement

Nathan Clement has been an athlete his whole life. After a stroke caused by chicken pox at the age of 2 that caused him to lose mobility on one side of his body, Nathan entered sports as a way to help him regain some control over his left side. With parents and siblings who were all athletes, it was only natural that he would be drawn to competition himself. Nathan has competed on the world stage in two para sports, swimming and cycling, and is the 2023 Parapan American Games and World Champion in cycling. He has also studied broadcast and online journalism and is a writer and editor for Evergreen Productions.

Exchange Quotes:

"Challenge yourself, go for it whatever 'it' may be; we are much more powerful and capable than we will ever know." – Amy Purdy

"By doing what you love, you inspire and awaken the hearts of others." – Satsuki Shibuya
