There are going to be ups and downs in life. These ups and downs are a function of the expansion and contraction of the Universe. Since we are embedded in the fabric of the Universe we are expanding and contracting too. We don't need to take life's ups and downs so personally because it's they're really not as much about us as we tend to think. To the extent that we can stay present through these life oscillations they will catalyze our spiritual growth and evolution.
