There was an idea... a passion project celebrating Nerd Culture with"southern charm". After nights of planning, thinking, throwing around ideas and suggestions... an image began taking shape as the 30&Nerdy Podcast. What started as friends discussing their favorite comics, movies, and games quickly resonated with listeners who appreciated the authentic enthusiasm and unique southern perspective on all things nerdy. The podcast created a welcoming community where being passionate about traditionally "nerdy" interests was celebrated rather than stigmatized. Then a community began. Then growth happened. Then we had to become something more.

From these humble beginnings, 30&Nerdy Podcast became Studio 66, then from those ashes; Nerdy South Entertainment. It has turned into something far more expansive than its founders could have imagined. The brand grew beyond audio content to encompass convention appearances, merchandise lines, community events, and expanded media offerings that connected fans across the southern states and beyond.
