Our family dog, Chloe, a mixed breed Chow Shepherd passed away a few years ago without a DNA test to determine her breed. Instead, a photo upload app called Dog Scanner has presented us with a quandary, the potential of 17 different breeds from 17 different countries. Through research, story-sharing, and gleaned knowledge, I'll be determining her breeds and travel to the countries of origin in 2030, the Year of the Dog.
