As an Extra Class licensed amateur radio operator, one of my favorite communications modes is AMSAT satellites. I use an Arrow antenna sometimes with just a couple of handheld radios or lately with a Kenwood TM-71a in full duplex mode. It is common to record these passes and review them later for accurate logging.
