Suffering for Doing Good (1 Peter 4:19)
Manage episode 518877594 series 2558371
Today’s Bible Verse:
“So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.” — 1 Peter 4:19
Peter offers a steadying truth for weary hearts: even in seasons of hardship, we’re not abandoned—we’re held by a faithful Creator who sees every step we take. This verse invites us to place our lives back into God’s hands, not with resignation, but with trust. And while the struggle may tempt us to shut down or pull away, Peter calls us to keep doing good—because suffering doesn’t get the final word. God’s faithfulness does.
